About Adalys E. Díaz, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM)

Adalys is a proud mother of two teenagers and a Licensed Acupuncture Physician-Herbalist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, currently advancing her knowledge in nutrition counseling and lifestyle medicine through Harvard Medical School (completing November 2025). Her comprehensive approach to wellness integrates traditional Eastern medicine with modern evidence-based health principles.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine and Herbology (Diplomate in Oriental Medicine) from NCCAOM, alongside Bachelor’s Degrees in Health Sciences and Economics.

A Personal Journey to Healing

Her career journey began in the legal field with a Juris Doctor and active law license. She practiced law for over 20 years, running her own successful law firm, but her path took a transformative turn when her son was diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder, ADHD, and High Functioning Autism. Faced with the limitations of traditional treatments and the ineffectiveness of psychotropic medications, Adalys sought alternative therapies. It was acupuncture that ultimately provided her son with the relief he so desperately needed.

Inspired by the profound impact it had on her family, she sold her law firm and pursued a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine as an Acupuncturist. While studying Chinese medicine, she worked as a Florida Certified Behavior Targeted Case Manager, deepening her insight into the unique challenges faced by families with children who have special needs, particularly the overreliance on medication in Western medicine. This experience strengthened her conviction in the transformative power of holistic care for the entire family.

Comprehensive Training & Specializations

As part of her extensive training, Adalys completed certifications as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, certified in the NADA protocol, and Acupuncture Injection Therapy, providing targeted vitamin and homeopathic injections based on individual patient needs.

Her upcoming Harvard Medical School lifestyle medicine certification will enhance her ability to create comprehensive wellness plans that address nutrition counseling, stress management, sleep optimization, and sustainable health changes—integrating seamlessly with her acupuncture expertise to provide truly holistic care.

Adalys also found a passion for Cosmetic Acupuncture after being introduced to the practice by Johanna Chu Yen (1933-2024), the esteemed founder of her acupuncture college. Professor Yen selected Adalys as a model to demonstrate an acupuncture facial to students, which inspired her passion for the transformation facial acupuncture can provide. Having completed certifications from international experts, Adalys has mastered facial rejuvenation techniques that deliver exceptional natural results.

Lifestyle Medicine Approach

Combining her personal journey with her professional expertise, Adalys founded Diaz Acupuncture to provide effective, individualized, and compassionate care. As a research specialist, she brings the same analytical precision to healthcare that made her legal practice successful. Currently, she specializes in chronic conditions such as back pain, neuropathy, anxiety disorders, and insomnia by integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine's root-cause philosophy with modern functional medicine approaches.

Coming November 2025: Upon completing her Harvard certification, Diaz Acupuncture will offer a truly integrated wellness approach that addresses the complete 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine—providing patients with someone who can order and interpret lab results, design evidence-based nutritional counseling, restore body balance through acupuncture, and guide them through a comprehensive lifestyle transformation. This integrated model of care is both rare and remarkably effective for achieving lasting wellness transformation.

With a heart that firmly believes in the transformative power of healing, Adalys guides individuals on their journey to wellness and empowers them to reach their fullest potential in life.
